MO's role in the new administration!

This article-post really helped clear up the formalized role of the First Lady moving in!

The core members of Obama's team are veterans of Chicago politics, and will serve in his White House. They include David Axelrod, Obama's chief strategist who will be a key adviser; Valerie Jarrett, a confidante of Obama and his wife, Michelle, who will also be an adviser, and Rahm Emanuel, a Democratic leader in Congress who will be Obama's chief of staff.

HOW DO YOU FEEL?
How do you think the President's decisions will be affected by having his wife on his staff? Do you see this as a negative or positive development in the creation of Obama's team?

  1. why not formalize the first lady's role as adviser to her husband? this way her advice will be open to the public, and we can get a better feel for all the powerful influences on our president. besides, we all know obama listens to michelle anyway.

all the best in your biffle quest!

  2. i wonder if Michelle's presence would prompt PEBHO to get the ever embarrassing under-the-conference-table-unexpected-boner. those are the worst.

  3. Shoot, I think they should be president as a couple. Unless he just wanna give it to her, that's cool too.

  4. Thank you for the comments!

Shirlotta, I'm not all too familiar with roles within the presidency, but I wonder how advising would work...and which matters she'd chime in on. Hmm... BUt in any case, I really love that they display a somewhat egalitarian balance within the marriage as seen in the 60 minutes interview.

    Brian, Wtf is a PEBHO?

Kristia, yeah, I'm really interested in what formalized role she'll have long term. I wish there were more articles available!
